Residential Advisor

Part-Time/Weekend

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) play a key role in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you assist the people we serve with meeting their daily needs. You have the opportunity to share in their success and support them through their struggles, while building lasting relationships.

Start wage: $16.00 per hour plus $1 to $2 per hour shift differential for hours worked in residential. Shift differential dependent upon location. Raise after three months. DSP receive a $1000 bonus for completing required training sessions within first year and may be eligible for retention bonuses through their second year of employment.

WEEKDAY

Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., 10 hours per week.
Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., 25 hours per week.
Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., 20 hours per week.

Licensed Practical Nurse

Full-Time

License Practical Nurse (LPN) is key player in the Health Services Department. They provide support to the individuals we serve as well as providing training on medical aspects to our Direct Support Professional employees. Start wage: $21.50 an hour. Employees may eligible for retention bonuses up to $2000 through the second year of employment.

Responsibilities involve direct and indirect nursing care of clients to include medication administration, physical assessments, lab draws, transportation to appointments and staff training. Minimum requirements include a State of Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse License, long-term care or disability service experience strongly desired. Strong assessment, teaching skills and a good driving record a must. For non-emergency medical transport, additional requirements include age 21 or over and valid driver license issued by Kansas (preferred) or surrounding state.

Residential Advisor II provides support to the individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the group home setting as well as provide training and development for the Residential Advisors. As a RAII, you assist the people we serve with meeting their daily needs. You have the opportunity to share in their success and support them through their struggles, while building lasting relationships.

Responsible for providing supervision and training, assisting with personal care, transportation, household maintenance, record keeping, and supervision of staff. Full-time, 40 hours per week, mornings and evenings. Excellent fringe benefit package including medical/dental and life insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, and KPERS retirement program. Minimum requirements include two years of college, or high school diploma or equivalent with related experience, and a good driving record. Residential shifts receive a shift differential between $1.00 and $2.00 depending upon location.

Nursing Assistant

Nursing Assistants play a key role in assisting clients with getting to their medical appointments for their overall health and wellness while building lasting relationships. Start wage: $16.00.
